Thomas R. Proctor High School recently hosted an English as a New Language (ENL) Orientation for multilingual students and their families, giving staff the opportunity to form one-on-one connections early in the year.
Bilingual educators and guidance counselors offered tailored assistance to each family, working individually with attendees to review class schedules, explain attendance policies and answer detailed questions about high school credit requirements for graduation. Incoming students received guided tours of campus and step-by-step help logging into their school Chromebooks and student portals.
Proctor High School plans to build on these personal connections and continue outreach efforts to ensure every student receives the full support they deserve.
