Jefferson Elementary celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss with classroom spirit and creative energy. Students and staff showed their love for the literary legend by wearing Dr. Seuss-themed T-shirts featuring colorful characters, playful quotes and iconic imagery from his beloved stories.
Throughout the day, classrooms were buzzing with special projects sponsored by the Jefferson PTO, including crafts and STEM challenges.
This annual celebration honors the legacy of Theodor Seuss Geisel, whose stories have inspired generations of readers to embrace creativity, kindness and the power of imagination. As Dr. Seuss himself said, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go!”
Happy birthday, Dr. Seuss!
